Interview with Jen

JFO: If you could change your first name, who would you call yourself?

JB: Lena - after my grandmother.

JFO: What is the square root of (358+3)?

JB: Hmmmmm.......

JFO: You can use a calculator....

JB: No that'd be cheating

JFO: I used one - that's how I found out....

JB: Uh....I have no idea... what is it?

JFO: 19

JFO: Do you think whoever invented the square root symbol should sue Verizon Wireless for stealing it for their logo?

JB: Absolutely. I think there is cause there for trademark infringement.

JFO: Where did you grow up?

JB: Wyckoff, NJ.

JFO: Of everyone who has mooched off the house this summer - who is your favorite one?

JB: John Foti - because of the tunes.

(side-thought: yeah, me too - and actually, I think his tunes bite, but he's got great hair to look at).

JFO: Who would win in a fight: Seth vs. Andrew?

JB: Andrew - because he's more determined.

JFO: Bob vs. Anthony?

JB: Definitely Bob.

JFO: Jess vs. Jess?

JB: Jess.

JFO: Charles vs. Rick?

JB: Rick.

JFO: Good or bad -  Philly?

JB: Good.

JFO: Mil + Phils?

JB: Excellent - I had a good bagel sandwich from there this morning.

JFO: Dunkin' Donuts?

JB: Good coffee.

JFO: Next weekend's weather?

JB: Better be good.

(Side-thoughts: Philly's fine, some people it produces are not; Mil and Phils I never cared for; Dunkin' Donuts is the best thing since (and prior to) pop-tarts; and next weekend will be nice).

JFO: If I am learning to fly and I ain't got wings, what is the hardest thing to do?

JB: Um ... I guess learning to fly?

JFO: I'm sorry, it's coming down - coming down is the hardest thing.

JB: I don't agree - I think it might be the take-off.

JFO: Hmmm - well that's not what Tom Petty said - these are lyrics from his song.

JB: Oh - well I don't like Tom Petty - I try to block out his songs.

(side-thought: I see).

(side-thought 2: I like Tom Petty).

(side-thought 3: I bet Tom Petty could beat Jen in a fight).

JFO: Who in the house smells the freshest?

JB: There aren't many fresh smelling people.....but Anthony - because of his cologne.

JFO: Maybe he's covering something up?

JB: Yeah - well I try not to think about that.

JFO: Who curses the most?

JB: I guess Seth. But I don't really notice - definitely not Dave though.

JFO: Besides yellow, what is your favorite car color?

JB: How did you know my favorite color is yellow?

JFO: Uh.......

JB: Well my dream car used to be a yellow 1969 BMW, but my second favorite car color would have to be red.

JFO: In 1947, a young man by the name of Floyd Jacoby enlisted into the U.S. Army and was sent off to Seattle for training. He never went to war, but went on to create one of the most practical inventions in modern day warfare. What did he invent?

JB: Hmmmmm....I have no idea. Let's say.........a machine gun?

JFO: Oh - um, I dont know - I just made the whole thing up.

JFO: Sunday morning: Water, O.J., or Diet Coke?

JB: Coffee.

JFO: What did you do this weekend that was most fun?

JB: Definitely bar-hopping on Saturday night.

JFO: Why wasn't anybody drinking or going out on Saturday night and what does that say about Friday night?

JB: It was a reflection of the weather and various, strategic hangovers.

JFO: There have been recent reports and research surrounding the topic of "binge drinking."  Do you believe the house has a problem or is drinking 7-10 cases a weekend perfectly normal for people our age?

JB: From a clinical definition we are all alcoholics - when I left today, the bags of bottles and cans on the street was flagrant.

JFO: Worse sounding town on the Garden State Parkway - Metuchen or Lincroft?

JB: Definitely Metuchen.

JFO: "Hello, hello, hello..is there anybody out there?"

JB: Ahh.......I'd have to say yes.
