August 22nd - August 24th

This weekend's wrap-up was written by Beth "where'd my liver go" Brown.   It was supposed to be Pam, but I forgot that she has no sense of adventure and can't be 'bothered' with these things.   Luckily Beth was sitting in front of me on the beach on Sunday when I heard about Pam's wrap-up.

Enjoy...

I first ask myself how did I get here, writing the weekend wrap-up.  Let's be realistic.  I mostly show up to the shore house on Saturdays, always missing Friday night, hence making me more or lest ineligible for the horror, no, no I mean honor of writing the weekend  wrap-up.  Let me answer this question for you.  I was the only choice, the last go to, the sole survivor,  the last of the Mohicans.  Pam White (see I am not using the words I really want to call her for putting me in this position) was supposed to do the write up.  Her lack of enthusiasms was infectious.  The only housemates down for the whole weekend were (in order of importance) ... BETH, KATHY, MICHELE, and PAM (see Pam ... don't piss me off).  Pam (once again being nice, no name calling) was going to do a sh**ty job, so Seth saw me sinking lower into my beach-chair and here I am.  Now that you know why you are reading Beth's words, lets go to the next problem.  Every possible format for writing this stupid thing has been used.  Seth perfected the rambling paragraph, who could forget Andrew's Walt Whitman style prose, Kathy, being the teacher delighted us with the comfortable chapter breakdown, and Jen and Jess's team writing approach would be tough to follow.  WHAT AM I TO DO?  Look below and see....

A - Alcohol - lots of it.

B - Beth picked up boy (just for a massage), ran into boy from last week, did not recognize him and hurt his feelings (boo hoo), Osprey with Kate and Kathy, used the men's room, ran into boy from night before in men's room (not for what everyone thinks), whatever respect he had for me was lost down the toilet.

C - Kathy (Kate was there for the weekend, which is rare, so she gets the "K" spot) had the patience of Job (all you Bible reading people and alter boys, which I know there are a few, will understand this reference).  She showed us why she is a great 3rd grade teacher.  She is able to ignore the loud voices and unnecessary talk of children.
 - Cookies - for those of us who know, do we need to say more?

D - Dance - Stacy was told (as we walked into Leggetts, none-the-less) that she was unable to dance on the bar.  Do we look like bar dancers?   I don't think so.   We all know that the pole is our preferred dancing prop.
 - DMB - If you don't know, you are not worthy (right Seth and Michele?!)

E - Energy dwindled for me and Kathy a bit on Saturday night.

F - Fatigues - Beth's new favorite pants that all will have the pleasure of previewing next weekend.

G - Gladiolas - Some long stem white flower that begins with a "G".

H - Hot, Hazy and Humid - Or as I like to call it "Friday Night".

I - Ignorant - Or the boys that we met.

J - Jerry Garcia - I AM A DEAD HEAD.  "What a long strange trip (this summer) it's been".

K - Kate showed up on Saturday.  Kathy and Beth went to the Osprey with Kate to look for boys (or at least Beth and Kate did).  After the bar closed, you'd think you were out on the point.  Beth and Kate waited to see if a drunken guy would talk to them.  They proceeded to use most of the bathrooms located between the bar and the house.  There was a surge in toilet paper prices last weekend thanks to Kate and Beth.

L - Liver -  Big surprise.  I am writing this wrap-up.

M - Michele and I spent some quality and a quantity of time together.  I have, up to this point in my life, spent no more than 48 hours with Michele.  Last night, I am excited to announce, we increased that amount to 72 hours, thanks to the DMB concert.  If I can now only get up to 96 hours with Michele, my life would be complete.

N - Nadine - She's a wife and mom of two, and she can drink me under the table.  Fun Girl.

O - Ocean - Clean, moderate temperature, no waves.

P - Pam - Where to begin.  Pam was suppose to write this damn thing and didn't.   That's all I have to say about pam (small case).

Q - Q - Worth 10 points in Scrabble.

R - Rich - Beth actually remembers the guys' name this time.

S - Stacy picked up more guys in one weekend than the house combined for the whole summer.

T - "Two Step" - Or as Michele prefers to call it, "Ant's Come Marching".

U - UV Index must have been a 10.  Lots of radiation for all to share.

V - Vermont is a state with Kathleen got drunk, did not fall, and danced this weekend.

W - WEDDING! - Sean and Vita are married!!   Congrats from the house!!   CLICK HERE FOR THE WEDDING WRAP-UP.

X - X-rays - Since neither Kathleen nor Sean were there this weekend, none were required.  Michele was there, but there were no slips (FALLS) this weekend.   Bruises are healing nicely.

Y - Y - Because I am being forced to write this.

Z - Zippers were pulled up and pulled down.

Now we know our ABC's, next time won't someone else write this thing!!!
